Desert Eagle ammo question

I ran across a Desert Eagle in .44 mag. A friend of mine gave me some remington ammo to go with it, and it is terribly dirty. 3 or 4 shots and the gun is just filthy. What powder do you recommend? I have reloaded plenty for the .40 S&W, the cleanest I found so far is longshot. Any other recommendations?? Any help is greatly appreciated. Lee.

Accurate Arms powders in Desert Eagles seem to work very well without too much punishing recoil. The AA #7 burn rate matches up very well with the 44 mag DE.

I agree with pcctex. AA powders usally fire real clean and dont leave alot of unburnt powder.
