details on the SPP-1?

i am doing some personal studies on the spetsialnyj podvodnyj pistolet (SPP-1). I first heard of it in a book that i had read, CSI: Miami Riptide. i was wondering if anyone could help me with some general knowledge or if anyone know some more specific details i would love to hear it. these studies aren't for anything in particular. the way it was described sounded amazing. plus i am going to school for criminal justice and eventually want to be in forensics. please help me out.

now do youself a favor and stop watching CSI and reading books about it, those guys are detectives, CSI in name only. The 'lab techs' who bring them the data are the CSIs, and almost every bit of science in those shows and books is junk
