DETONICS - Good Price?

Cruised into a local gun shop the other day that I hadn't visited for some time, and in the case there is a Detonics Combat Master.

Serial number is "C......" (can't quite remember), has at least 1 Detonics mag, looks to be original grips in good shape & overall looks good with minimal bluing wear. The back strap has a small chip out of it up near the hammer, otherwise it doesn't look abused.

I didn't ask about the box, manual, extra mags, etc. - but I'm assuming they aren't there.

Asking price is $395.

I'm wondering - is it a good price? I've always wanted a Detonics to some degree, but it would be more of a collector or novelty piece to me as I do have a 3" Kimber CDP for carry.

Opinions please?

Actually, if that is a genuine, original Detonics Combat Master, that is a SUPERB price!!!

They're damn near giving it away! They sell for almost twice as much out here and I see a lot of them for sale since so many were made here. They never last long. Butch's just sold one for $700+

So you'd better grab it while you can.

If you find any problems after you buy it, Detonics will still work on it and fix it to as good as new.
