DHS Insider on federal plans, including gun confiscation

Have you all been following this? Canada Free Press reporter has a contact in the Department of Homeland security...It's all very Deep Throat-ish, but it sounds like something from a movie. It gives me the creeps, but certainly makes me nervous about RKBA and makes me want to secretly stock up.

Here is the latest article in which the contact ("RB") makes the following statements to the reporter ("DH"), but the whole thing is creepy:

DH: New federal gun laws?

RB: Yes. Count on the criminalization to possess just about every gun you can think of. Not only restrictions, but actual criminalization of possessing a banned firearm. I heard this directly from the highest of my sources. Plans were made in the ‘90s but were withheld. Now, it’s a new day, a new time, and they are riding the wave of emotion from Sandy Hook, which, by the way as tragic as it was, well, it stinks to high heaven. I mean there are many things wrong there, and first reports are fast disappearing. The narrative is being changed. Look, there is something wrong with Sandy Hook, but if you write it, you’ll be called a kook or worse.

DH: Sure

RB: But Sandy Hook, there’s something very wrong there. But I am hearing that won’t be the final straw. There will be another if they think it’s necessary.

DH: Another shooting?

RB: Yes.

DH: That would mean they are at least complicit.

RB: Well, that’s one way of looking at it.

DH: Are they? Were they?

RB: Do your own research. Nothing I say, short of bringing you photographs and documents will convince anyone, and even then, it’s like [DELETED] in the wind.

DH: So…

So, ease my mind folks....

I believe there is a desire by those who want an AWB to take guns away from everyone.

I do not believe they are having these attacks done in order to further their agenda.

From what I see, it's not easing that your mind needs. If the implication is correct there, the federal government is involved in the shootings themselves. Apparently your tinfoil hat isn't thick enough or is on a little too tight.

A quick scan of other "news stories" on the site should help one realize the credibility of this site is on par with Info Wars. If you don't know, Info Wars is the official publication of the tin foil hat wearing conspiracy theorists. Their Supreme Leader, Alex Jones, loves to cite his own web page as proof of his claims. Its all quite entertaining.

Husband just assured me that this site is notorious for conspiracy theory, black helicopter, UFO stuff and I should take anything posted there with a grain of salt.

No, I don't buy the idea that the government is actually behind the shooting attacks. We live in a country of well over 300 million people. Bad things happen all the time. That said... I can't quite discount the idea that people in the government might alter the narrative of a crime scene to fit their agenda. Even if they don't physically alter evidence, they can control who gets their story out to the media. Certain things get emphasized while others are neglected. It's the whole political "spin control" applied to a crisis situation.

Having attended at least my fair share of training being offered/partnered by DHS in recent years (LE only), and having met all manner of people working for them at such training venues (on affiliated regional task forces, etc) who have some REAL and VERY interesting backgrounds, there just isn't any .gov plot to subjugate the country. Really.

No Fox Mulder waging his silent war against a secret cabal within the governments of the world, preparing the way for an impending alien invasion, either.
