Just got back from picking up my new Diamondback 9mm and figured I would share my initial impressions.

To start with this thing is tiny, being just a hair larger than the Rohrbaugh and about the same length and height as a Kahr PM9. The maximum width on the Diamondback is .81" whereas the Kahr PM9 is 1.00" across when the slide stop is included.

Slide width on the DB9 is .81", the PM9 is .91".

Dimensions sound close to my Kel Tec PF9. If so, hold on tight because shes gonna wanna jump!

Looking forward to a range report!

I love my little "pocket 9"

Even smaller than the LC9 or PF9. I just sold my PF9 and am in the process of selling my LC9, ended up buying a dummy gun instead of using the real gun.

Here's a pic of the DB9 in front of my LC9 blue gun.

After my experience with the DB380 I opted for the Kahr CM9.
I liked the look and the feel of the Diamondback but it was extremely unreliable. After the 2nd trip back to the factory I traded it for an LCP.
The CM9 has been perfect through about 300 rounds. So has the LCP through 400 rounds.

I was about ready to give up on my original DB380 too, but ended up getting it exchanged for a newer model. The newer one is going great, no issues since the first couple of magazines.

I really hope the DB9 is reliable, but will hold judgement until I shoot it.

What's the DAO trigger poull on the DB9 versus the LC9?

I like Rugers, but that LC9 had to go.

My LCP's trigger is something I can live with though.
Actually a bit better than the DAO of my Micro Eagle.

I love my LCP:)

CZF,

Trigger on the DB9 is sweet, especially compared to the LC9. One of the guys at the local gun store is a trainer and he was very impressed with the DB9's trigger too.

The LC9 is heavy and long, plus has a huge reset. The DB9 is fairly light and a lot shorter, reset is still long-ish.

Here are a couple of pictures of the Pocket Holsters for the DB9 and DB9 w/CT. I will also be offering a wedge shaped holster that's better for use in jeans/dress pants.

There are a couple of more pictures on my blog, should have the IWB holster done Friday or Saturday.
