It is still out there, after accounting for shipping the best prices seem to be at my local gun show. I do believe that it is drying up though, so I have been buying a can or two whenever I see a good deal.

Just recently bought a crate (two spam cans and opener) of 880 rounds of 1983 Russian for $158.00 with free shipping from Sportsmanguide.

I think maybe the days of DIRT cheap surplus are gone, but I just got a spam can from fleet farm for $109. Although hang fire's deal seems pretty darn good!

More like a good chunk of the supply in this country just got bought up. Kinda like anything else gun-related since, oh, about mid December.

At a gun show a couple of weeks ago. Friend of mine was selling 20 round boxes for $8. Had 2 cases of it and sold only 2 boxes. I thought it was a reasonable price.

Its still the best there out there for heavy hitters.

500 rd brick of .22 LR now cost $70 minimum and good luck finding one

440 rd spam of 54 R now cost $80 plus shipping . Still a great deal.

My LGS has 500 round boxes of .22 for $49.
Too rich for my blood, but they had it.
