I ordered some action screws for my CZ 452 .22 LR rifle from CZ452.com. I ordered the screws on January 21st and I have not received them a month later (Feb 22nd).

They charged my card the day I ordered the screws. I have contacted them and they have not replied.

Has anyone else ordered parts from this site?

Ragsdale;

On the face of it, it sounds as though you're a victim. My suggestion is to go to www.rimfirecentral.com, hit the CZ board, and: 1. Ask for advice in obtaining the screws you need from a reliable supplier. 2. Post your problem with the offending site.

If the person(s) running CZ452.com are honest and knowledgeble, they'll know of the rimfire central CZ board. They won't want negative information posted on it, and should do whatever possible to rectify your situation. OTOH, they might have another version of what transpired. But that particular place is the internet site for rimfire CZ information.

The person running cz452.com is Eric Brooks. Do a search for him on rimfirecentral.com and you will see what others have experienced with his service. I believe he is a sponsor of that site.

I have dealt with Eric Brooks for years, and alway had good results. Others have not been so fortunate. He is sometimes very slow to respond to inquires, so you may want to try again and be patient. His products are first rate quality.

Mr. Brook's shipping schedule isn't always consistant and regular. I've ordered a couple times from him including 452 screws. I've received some parts on expected delivery times and others (partcularly the screws) in longer than normal delivery times. (In fact, it was long enough I forgot about them and was a little surprised when they eventually arrived.) IIRC, he gets the screws from a source and doesn't make them himself. Sometimes, the flow of supplies dries up for a short duration but he eventually gets them out.

My GF ordered me a ghost ring sight well before Christmas money was taken next day, no product has ever arrived, no phone calls or e-mails have been answered. I am glad it was only $16.00, but still can't help but feel wronged by it all.

Just call your credit card company and tell them you were ripped off. If they guy is honest and gets enough chargebacks maybe he will get his act together.

He took a while to get my trigger kit out, but it did come and he sent me an email apologizing for the delay. I like the kit, but the service certainly could be better.

ditto on Eric, my order as slow to process but the products are first rate...

Youll get it eventually, he is a one man show...

I think I might have been taken as well. In the past I ordered some weaver base adapters and had no problem. This time I ordered a CZ452 trigger kit and have received nothing even though the check was cashed on Jan. 18, 2008. I've shot him emails three different times and tried to contact him via Skype as mentioned on www.cz452.com.

There's a 5+ page thread about him on RFC right now, most of it negative. Using the search will net even more info.

It seems that if you use Paypal, and complain to them within the timeframe they specify, then he gets right on your order. Some folks waited too long to complain and can't get any response from Mr. Brooks.A few folks got their orders right away, with plenty of communication.

After searching out on RFC, I'm not planning on ordering anything from him unless news of his service changes.

My bank, USAA, credited my account for the $13. I assume they chargeback, but I don't know.

I bought from brooks (same site) just like you did and my service was exceptionally quick. He even emailed me prior to shipping that they would be delayed a few days which I did not mind. From order to door was about a week.

Nice stuff. My suggestion is POLITELY email him and ask if there is a delay.

As previously mentioned, emails have been sent on three different occasions and none were before the time the check had been cashed for two weeks. None were confrontational, only asking about the order with my contact information.

I find it interesting that you're implying that those of us who aren't receiving the ordered products did something wrong or impolite.

Is there an alternative place that sells the same products? I want to get the trigger kit and screws but I am definitely not going to buy through this guy.

I heard from Mr. Brooks today. He said he found my order along with several others in a bag and apologized that it's taken so long. I should get it by Friday.

Well, it's Saturday after mail delivery and still no trigger kit. And I was almost feeling good about the latest development of my order being found.

Well, it's now Thursday after mail delivery. Mr. Brooks must live in an alternate universe where the time scale doesn't match ours.

Here's the email he sent me:

Many thanks for your order. My apologies for the delay in processing it.
I will mail it today and you should have it by Thursday.

Accessories for the CZ 452

That was on March 10th and it's the 24th. I haven't received anything.

I got my money back thanks to USAA, so I don't really care :)

Is there another place to get these screws? Allen head screws are the way to go. The standard or flat head screws are easy to bugger up even with gunsmith screwdrivers.

Hi there

I'm a new member, so Hello.

Did you manage to source some other screws for your CZ452?

I'm in the UK and I've been lucky enough to get a trigger kit from Eric a while ago, but no response to many emails asking which screws will fit my Brno#2.

Have you had any luck?

Be great to source some of these for the Uk market, we have plenty of CZ's in 22lr and 17hmr.

Thanks in advance.

CZ USA will sell and ship any part including screws for all the firearms they sell, but I don't know if they'll ship to the UK. I don't see why they wouldn't, but I'm sure the cost to ship will be more than the screws themselves.

In other words, call CZ :)

Well, since my previous post, I had gone against the results people of been getting lately from EB (mostly negative) and placed an order for some ghost rings for a Lux (and possibly for one of my Ultra Luxes if they worked out). 5 weeks later with a few unanswered e-mails and still no rings.
