I was at a gun show last weekend and saw a Brazilian Nylon 66 made by CBC. I know it was the Remington tooling after they sold it, and it was Apache Black. I was sorely tempted, but passed. It was only $125, and I'm having a mild case of "non-buyers" remorse.

Any ideas about the value of it?
Thanks

Well, I doubt you will find another, but do you really want one? I've never heard of any Brazilian firearms that have much collector value in the US.

The Brazilian are good shooters. I never considered a nylon 66 to have much in the way of collectors value. I've owned 4 or 5 over the years. The're knockabout, behind the seat (pick up truck), guns. Fed good ammo they always work. Accuracy is pleantly good enought for what they were designed for.

I heard Remington quit making them because they claimed their moulding machinery was worn out. I think they quit because the guns never wore out and they wern't selling as many.

The CBC Nylons are great guns, kinda regret selling mine. It out shot my real Nylon. $125 seems a bit steep to me, but try and find a real Nylon for that.

That's what I thought. I would have bought it as a shooter, but I already have a Nylon 66 and don't really need another. If I ever wear out my Mohawk brown 66, I'll wish I had bought it, but I'll cross that bridge when my grandkids come to it. :p
Thanks,
