Ok I think I fell off of the memo distribution list. Has anybody else seen or used this stuff.

It is Remington 9x19mm 115 grain hollow point ammo sold in a 100 round bulk pack for $14.00. It is packaged in seperate plastic 50 round holders and comes in a remington green and yellow box.

I picked up two boxes to test out a new P226 and I think it's great to be able to test it with some form of hollowpoint at the same time.

Anybody use this ammo yet, chrono it etc. The Win WhiteBox JHP ammo is known to be pretty solid SD stuff but is of course much more expensive at $10.00/50.

Just curious. At the very least this stuff should be great for testing out firearms with a reasonably standard HP bullet.

I picked up a box of the 45 bulk pack. I had a problem with the last round loading in 6 mags with that ammo. It turned my 8 shot mags into 7. The all fed and shot okay after a tap rack bang.

Hope the 9mm stuff works better!

That with a P220 45R?? Were you using factory or Novak/ACT mags?

Just curious. I will be running it through a P226 myself. My P220 has never malf. on anything we shall see.

Yup, been buying a lot of it .
Don't have a chrono, but it runs great in My XD-9 and S&W M39-2. Little more accurate to boot.
Maybe it's Me, but it seems to be a little cleaner than WWB FMJ. It miiiiight be a little hotter too.

How did you know it was with a 220(ST)? I was using both the factory and Novak/ACT mags. It was strange as it was always the last round. The 220ST eats just about everything else.

I've looked for that stuff ever since word first went out over the wire...

Nowhere to be found in my neck of the woods.

I found it at the Walmart on Nolensville road at the Old Hickory crossing. It was $13.95 a box.

45R, I am scary psychic.:scrutiny: Actually it's elementary, I just had a hunch you were running it through a SIG, because of your SIG line, and since we are talking .45 I figured I would just take the logical jump that since you were obviously a man of great taste by choosing SIG Sauer pistols, chances were that you also had the intelligence and taste to choose the finest .45 auto pistol ever created......which of course leads me to the P220. I almost added that I just new it was the stainless one as well.

I will now run for cover from the barrage of fire I am about to receive from the 1911 folks. My only hope is that the Glock folks end up getting in the way and starting the inevitable Glock .45 vs. 1911 conflict. :D

Just kidding everybody. I just happen to like the P220 very much. I also own a 1911.

Bought a few boxes of it at Wal-Mart for $13.96 per 100. Havn't had a chance to test it yet. Good price for a HP.

Bought some last month..I'll be shooting it this labor day......will post my uneducated-non-chronoed report...

I've found three gun reviews (magazines) that apparently refer to this load or (in one case) the Peters equivalent. Remington owns the Peters trademark, too, of course.

Velocity seems to be right at 1180 FPS, very good for a non Plus-P 9mm round.

I can't wait to get to the range and run some thru my CZ-75B.

Ran a couple hundred rounds of this stuff through our Walther P99, SIG P225 and SIG P226 with not one malfunction. It was accurate and felt rather hot for a non +P round. All in all I was very happy with it even if it is only 115 grain.

The one downside is the muzzle flash is pretty serious.
