wow, for a 130 bills, I stole this basically :)

Pawnshopping has been kind to me these past few months :)

Im amazed people let go of this stuff like this, crazy.

Yugo m48A, excellent shape, decent bore with strong shiny rifling, good wood, great bluing, all matching numbers, sorry im still sucking at photgraphing these things, but its all there, a very solid mauser, its not the german k98, but damn good clone of one :) Im happy. I need to stay out of pawnshops period :)

Nice catch!

As long as you stay away from the S&W wheelies, you're OK. If you cross the S&W wheelie bridge, you are doomed to wander the pawn shop circuit forever!

I guess pawnshops are better in some places than others ... All I ever find at pawshops is $400 Hi Points and $600 Mosins :barf:

if its a 6 bill mosin, it better be an original pu scoped 91/30 ;)

i cant comment on a high point but if your saying thats alot im sure it is

That was a GOOD find. Just a matter of being at the right place at the right time.:)

bought some of this for it :)

Just ordered up 10 boxes of the Yugo 8mm stuff from AIM.

http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/copy_of_8mm.html

I figured for that price I can afford that. If I like the stuff Ill order up a can of it later on. From what I have been reading the 8mm is all across the board depending on what you decide to buy. Went into a local gunshop and they said 25.99 a box, ouch I think not. So for just target practice at the range to get a feel of this rifle this AIM surplus Yugo stuff will work well I think. For when Im actually out after a Deer or the like then the 25 dollar stuff will be worth it.

Figuring its a Yugo made rifle and this is the correct ammo made for it specifically Im expecting some good results.

My M48A really loves the stuff you just ordered from AIM. Hope it works for you too.

Sounds like you, and I are going to the same shops. I look once a month, but only find crap:cuss:

I guess im just lucky, San Antonio Texas is odd like that, theres plenty of stuff way overpriced in these same pawnshops too, I have seen plenty of these well used Berettas and Sigs priced more than the MSRPs my friends :) but when it comes to Milsurps it has been very kind thus far.
