I've been looking to upgrade my AR for awhile and finally bit the bullet today. I was looking at a local shop in the DC area and saw a lightly-used Noveske N4 (~100 rounds down the pipe) on the rack at a price I just couldn't turn down. It was a lot of cash but a bargain considering new MSRP for the gun.
The gun I got rid of to get the N4 was a Bushmaster carbine with the AK muzzle break. First observation I made is the attention to detail in the Noveske versus the BM (makes sense given the price difference). The quality of components, finishing of the surfaces, etc. are all top-notch. Even components like the charging handle, trigger guard, upper receiver, etc. just feel more solid.
Second is the surprising balance given the long-ish stainless steel barrel. Is it heavy? Yes, but the Magpul slanted forward grip and UBR stock combine to make it balance relatively well according to my taste. It is actually more balanced than the Bushy HBAR carbine I sold to fund it.
I have not shot the rifle yet but am itching to do so.
