257-6.5 would be perfect, off course I'd have a Hawaiian shirt hydro dip on the gun. It actually would be a good camo lol.
Did some hunting these last couple weeks.....

ya know the more I hunt the less im inclined to believe that the choice of camo matters here lol.....next time we go out ill ware one of my old aloha shirts...if i can still cram myself into it.
Cargo slacks, and a web belt with a pot leaf buckle and id be set to go cruise pahoa town afterward!

I don't think it matters with camo, maybe they even key on to camo and something different they don't mind. I've walked right up to deer bow hunting wearing plad or flannel. They see you but don't know what you are.

Yes. I carry orange with me squirrel hunting. I have shot several squirrels in the tree just above where I toss out an old orange vest or hat. It’s like they come to investigate the new object.
Thats the plan!
One of my other co-workers has been pestering me to take him goat hunting, probably do that in a couple of weeks, taking my dad up to Maunakea to shoot long range Tuesday.
So we did go goat hunting last week Tuesday, but both my buddy and I missed.
Got some decent pictures, had a nice hike, and had lunch at the beach. All in all pretty decent day.
Went for a short hunt with the family today . Got a hornless ram, let another ram go. My buddy who was up there also shot at it later in the afternoon with my rifle, But miss judged the range and shot under.
The one I shot was catching the last of the sun on a rock a few hundred yds off the road making him an easy target. My buddy who was up there before us bypassed the rams on his way in, as he was running a R92 in 45Colt and couldnt make the stalk on an animal out in the lava.
And yeah I forgot my shoes at home.......
