Dillon 450 and 45 ACP

Has anyone ever loaded 45acp using a dillon 45o, using RCBS dies ?


If so, can you walk me through this- because I'm all kinds of lost !

Sure, loaded many thousands of .45 on a 450. But I can't teach you to load on a forum. Do you have a manual, or instructions to go with the press? If you need basic instructions, I can send you a copy of the Dillon 450 manual. Or get a copy of The ABCs of Reloading.

Just trying to figure out exactly the die placement- this setup is confusing !

Assumably the powder measure comes with a powder- through die, but is this an expander die- or just a through die ?

I think most of my questions are gonna be answered by dillon on monday, anyway.

Why don't you put it in the machine & see what it does---if the mouth becomes bigger you may have an answer.

Yes the powder thru die is an expander.

the expander goes in the powder through die, they are separate pieces. expander is in the caliber change kit with shell plate and pins
