I somehow or rather, my contractor for my roof lost my locator pins for my 38 special/357 plate.

I have a dillon 550B. The manual pdf on dillons web site says #2 locator pin part # 14064. Well 14064 doesn't exist on their website. you would think that the manual would be updated since its a 2007 pdf, but apparently something is amiss.

What is the locator pin # or part # for 38 spc/357 for a dillon 550B? Thank you all!

Here's a link -

Apparently they are shown under "RL450/550 Caliber Conversion Individual Parts" and not listed as parts for the press, primer system or powder measure.

The 2007 pdf file has a typo, as you discovered. I believe .38/357 is the only caliber that lists a #2 button with the incorrect part number. All the others show 14062. An earlier pdf file described the locator button necessary (such as #1, #2, etc.) but listed no part number at all!

(BTW - you might tell your roofing contractor those "little brass nails" aren't nearly long enough for roofing... :) )

Save yourself some trouble, just call Dillon.

I lost some parts during a move and broke the primer catcher on my Square Deal. Called to buy new parts, the customer rep said he wasn't interested in the how, Dillon sent me the parts and some new locator pins that I never even asked for, and it was all for free.

Initial cost of Dillon products may be bit high, but they have customer service second to none.
