I thought Dillon had a good (lifetime?) warranty on their bags but I just learned different. I have a Border Shift bag that is 2-3 years and belonged to my son. He never used it except for home storage of completed ammo. The shoulder strap's clip on one side will pull out with just a little pressure. I called Dillon this morning hoping for a replacement strap and learned there is only a 1 year warranty on their bags.

Just FYI

Did you ask what the cost for the replacement piece was... I have had instances where the product does not fall under warranty but the part is so cheap they just make me pay cost of shipping and they send it right out.

just a thought

Dillon has been good on the only return/exchange that I have had to do to date.

I thought about a replacement strap but didn't ask. I was concerned about buying the strap and then finding out the attachment on the bag was the problem - although I think it is the strap end that's weak.

I'll have to test it with another bag I have.

I checked the bag's clip with the shoulder strap from another bag and it is definitely the strap side clip that is weak. I called Dillon this morning and asked to buy a new strap. The Rep said he didn't have a part number for just the strap but would check with the warranty department to see if they had a strap available. After a few seconds the Rep came back on the line and said they did and would ship it to me at no charge! As with a most businesses, a lot depends upon who you talk with!
