:what:

Got my new Ruger .45 Vaquero on Monday and it's a beaut'. The title was a joke but it's from '96, unfired, 7 1/2" barrel, ss, and box and paperwork. Probably paid too much but. . . Every time I pick it up I hear Chester hobbling along and yelling in the background

I got a pair of those with rig from a CAS shooter that was getting divorced about a year ago. At the time I was not sure I really needed them and it broke the bank for a while to boot. Now I sure am glad I did it.:D Mine shoot great and are accurate also. Kind of harkens back to that golden era for sure. Enjoy that new Vaquero.

Congratulations on your Vaquero. It looks like a Vaquero not a New Vaquero. It's new to you.
I've shot them & every one i've shot has been very accurate. I think it'll serve you well & be a lot of fun.
Thanks for sharing.

Nice looking Vaquero you've got there. I have a 5 1/2" barrel model in stainless that is incredibly accurate out to 25 yards with both factory ammo and handloads. Had the Mothers Mag Polish treatment done to it and it looks just like it was nickel plated.

Yes. It is an "old" Vaquero, 1996.

So far just polishing it :) No rounds down the pipe. Going to get some BB for fun. . . then I'll try handloading.

Thanks folks!

Need, ah, want this, soon!
