Discolored 25 cal Hornady 117 RN?

I obtained some old 25 cal hornady 117g RN in a trade. 41 had greenish copper corrosion some worse than others. I put all of them in my vibrator with walnut shells. 59 came out like new. The others have brownish discloration.
What are your thoughts? I plan to use then for testing my 25.O6 test loads.

Have you ever used any disclored bullets.the copper jacket doesnt appear to be eroded or damaged?

Should be fine, use the discolored ones for your first starting loads.

They have a vinegar salt wash I plan on testing but I haven't tried it yet....

As long as there is no pitting you should be good to go. Discolored bullets shoot the same as ones with a shine. I would not use a liquid cleaner for fear of getting it between the jacket and lead and it causing separation problems.
