Re: Update

I have been embedded, with ArmedBear, as your representatives in Occupied California for five years now. In December, I am returning to the U.S. for a week to begin our plans for escape, and am much looking forward to it. We hate to leave those who value freedom in their time of need, but their numbers are waning and we must save ourselves before it is too late. In the meantime, we wait and watch for the opportunity to garner support for a revolution.

However, some days we do feel hopeless. The situation continues to deteriorate, with recent legislation to ban handguns in the Bay area being a huge blow. Our freedom, such as it is, hangs from the thread of a shredded Constitution, and we cannot count on the Governor to veto all of the restrictions passed by the thugs called representatives, as he is by nature and necessity a politician. Nor can we count on having even a somewhat conservative Governor in office for much longer.

In regards to 'Project Poster' (see this post), I have been quite ill, but intend to follow through as soon as I have regained my energy. The plan is for ArmedBear and I to sweep campus early in the morning with several dozen copies of appropriate posters. We will especially post them near signage encouraging students to carry cell phones to protect themselves from rapists and robbers.

We are gratified to hear from you, and hope to have good, or at least amusing, news to report soon.

Apprehensive, but hopeful.

Ellie

oh no!

do get better. you have such nice eyes, as everyone noted, and there's enough of the "tactical mall ninja" pictures floating about to make us all (myself included, i must admit) look just a tad suspicious as to our mental health.

a nice picture or two goes a long way toward making that image better.

i wish i could leave kali. but too much ties here... then again, as soon as I have my full credentials and a little pile of cash..

NEW HAMPSHIRE HERE I COME!!!!!!!WOOOT!!!!!!!!!!!

Aw, thanks silverlance. I'll be ok, just had a bad cold followed by a recurring infection for which they gave me meds that are kicking my butt two ways from Texas. Thank God for modern medicine when we need it, though.

And I appreciate the compliment re: the posters. If I can do anything to advance the cause, I will.

Quick, toss me a life vest!

How about all you freedom loving Californians come here to New Mexico and tell all the non freedom loving Californians already here there is a big sale on cheap houses back home?:D

Maybe then the housing market would get a bit more reasonable here...:banghead:

And any recent escapees who find themselves in Albuquerque and want to go shooting let me know, you buy the ammo and you can shoot it through my non CA approved stuff.

Sorry you've been under the weather. I have found that a cold without treatment lasts 14 days. With treatment, two weeks. With 'proper' medication, a fortnight, but you don't care.

Talk to your doc, he may be able to prescribe somthing that will 'kick your but two ways TO Texas'.
