Display guns

hat are your opinions on purchasing display guns if it's the last one they have in stock?

Unless it was tore up in some way, I would have no problem at all. In fact, I want to handle and dryfire any gun I buy in a store weather they brought it from the back or out of the case.

If I was a collector buying collector guns, I’m sure I would feel different. But I’m not, so I don’t.

I have no problem with display guns as long as I get a bit of a discount. Unless it’s something rare, which is unlikely with current new guns, there is no way I’d pay full price though.

The 2 guns that I bought that were display guns both had issues, so no, not anymore. But I'm very eccentric with my taste in firearms so more often than not I have to custom order stuff...

I suppose I am fortunate enough to know what to look for in the firearms I would buy to know when there’s a disqualifying defect or discountable damages, and I’ve always been bold, yet fair, enough to push into negotiations with a clerk or manager. If they are unwilling to negotiate when a discount is warranted, then they lose a sale.
