Disposable Ear Plug question

They weren't found during a FOD walk?

Earplugs aren't sensitive enough of an item to do a detailed search. Of a runway. At night. I got issued plenty other sets but I never liked them as much as that cased pair that I put a set of subdued cross rifles on the case. Functional attachment as much as sentimental.

Do not buy from ali. You can not trust the NRR so you are putting your hearing at risk to save pennies from manufacturers that make counterfeit or non-compliant protective equipment. Buy from a dependable American hearing protection companies like 3M, Honeywell, Howard Leight, or Moldex. https://www.grainger.com/category/safety/hearing-protection/earplugs?attrs=Noise+Reduction+Rating|33+dB&filters=attrs
I probably wouldn't use them with a high-powered rifle.
However, normal three-flange silicone earplugs are not high-tech devices. The three-flange silicone earplugs that attempted to be high-tech (3m) ended up being the ones that got people. There is more NRR variation to be found in foam earplug insertion technique than there is in three-flange silicone manufacturing techniques.
I stand by the cheap ones being perfectly acceptable, and I am never cavalier about hearing protection due to increased sensitivity from service-related tinnitus.

If we can agree that higher noise reduction rating and multiple barriers are better, perhaps we can choke this gnat down and get on with discussing different uses for these little nerf bullet. I can't wait.

I just noticed Rust Collector done hollered up a challenge that has, as of yet, gone unanswered. So, as to get some brownie points with a Mod:

Draw faces on them and sell as little Minion action figures.

Occasionally dump them in a coworker’s desk and let them wonder.

Load them as 9mm projectiles to appease the woke crowd.

Coat in chocolate and serve to unwanted guest.
