I found a fair amount of components yesterday, so I took the plunge into 460. I've been reloading 44 magnum (among other rounds) heavily, so I pretty much know the score with hotter magnum revolver rounds. I understand that hot 44 mag and hot 460 aren't in the same ballpark, so any advice would be awesome.

With that said, this will be ran through a 460 BFR......once I can find one. They're pretty much out everywhere I look.

I'll also add that for now, I'm going to stick to the beaten path with Hornady XTP MAG offerings in 240 and 300g. I have plenty of H110, IMR4227 to use, so powder isn't an issue. I've yet to pick up any large rifle magnum primers.

I'll be doing these on my single stage RCBS, I bough this set of Hornady dies here:

I landed up with that set because it has a separate seating and crimping die. The crimp isn't roll, it's taper, I welcome any thoughts on that.

Basically looking for any hints on loading the round, findings, thoughts, etc.
