I had an ingenious idea; that if I put fur, in this case squrirrel fur, around the removable cheek piece and tucked the edge under it and poked a hole in the skin and screwed the screw in, and pinched the edges of the fur under the pastic cheek piece, you have a fur cheek piece!

If you cant see this just tell me. How do you post them directly on the page?

I was thinking the same thing, and then I tried to think of a dirty joke and got nothing. Poppeye you could have picked something a bit more um... I don't know soft like rabbit? And how many squirrel pelts do you have? Do you tan them on your own? Imagine a squirrel skin coat!! Sweet.

For fun and it looks sweet why else?

I got plenty of squirrel pelts. and i do tan them my self. Ok i thought it was pretty cool Sorry if you didnt. never mind i may aswell close it if thats the only AHEM comments.

Just having some fun with you don't take it the wrong way. Just something about squirrel pelts makes me laugh can't say why though.

Definitely creative! Nice work. I like the idea of using fir on the cheek piece. Hey, it's your gun! If you love it, I say enjoy it. :D

Fur and guns just go together.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bijan_(designer)

In the late 1980s Bijan designed a golden Colt revolver. The gun had a leather handgrip fashioned for a .38-cal. Colt revolver inlaid in the cylinder was 56 grams of 24-karat gold, the gun was placed in a mink pouch in a Baccarat crystal case embossed with the customer's name. Bijan's own signature is engraved in gold on the barrel of the gun. Only 200 such guns were made. In 2005, one of these guns sold at Christie's auction house for over $50,000 USD

Time to start taking bids on that shotgun!

I will add this, kudos to you for using every part of the animal you kill. Still think a squirrel skin coat would rock.

a coat would be cool just kinda thin.
My brother, the one in the picture, made a mole for chemistry out of a fox squirrel. it was awsome. he got a 100%

Yeah that's great he would have got an A in my chem class.

Why? ? ?

Why Not???

It is certainly unique, AND it sends the squirrels this message...."Hey, don't be sneaking up on me and dropping walnuts on my head from the treetops..."

Should have left the tail on.

Just not for me though.
I'd be afraid I'd get fleas in my Elvis sideburns or something.

No you have to soak for over 24 hours in vinigar and tanning solution no fleas left.
in resplose to snarling was that a question for me or an answer guess?
