Hi,
looking for pictures and experiance with the DMS-1 mounted on a PEPR sight on an AR15. How far out can you push the scope? Is that enough?
Thanks.

I am about to use this exact set-up on my new DPMS Bull 20. I already have the scope and PEPR. Will post pics when the new rifle gets here tomorrow.

There is a 72 page thread on Arfcom about that scope, and on page 69 there are pictures of it mounted with the P.E.P.R.

I'm seriously thinking about getting the combo... though I'm a big fan of Trijicon's tritium illumination, and the lines of P.E.P.R. looks cheesy to me and it's not a QR mount, it's 60% less expensive than a TR-24/LaRue mount pairing.

nhm16,
thanks for the pointer. Looks like a workable solution.
(Heck given my current budget the only solution. )

Here's a couple pics of my new DPMS Bull 20 with the Burris PEPR mount and Millett DMS-1. Looks and feels pretty solid, I have Magpul goodies coming soon and after the install I will post a report.

Thank you Ed.

Question, do you like the scope that far back or is that an initial position and you are going to tweak it?

I actually like it that far back. I don't like being extremely close to the charging area. The scope picks up extremely well at this angle and is perfect for me. I do have friends that shoot their AR's nose to charging handle but for me, I dont choose to. I also dont see the need for back-up irons for this set-up for me.

Incoming goodies include:
Magpul UBR
Magpul MIAD grip
Magpul Inhanced Trigger Guard
More Magpul PMAG 20's
Magpul Ranger Plates
Geissele DMR trigger
Burris Fastfire
Badger Tactical Charging Handle
