Do I need a AR in 308?

I have an opportunity to pick up a Fulton 308 lower and I'm perplexed. I thought I picked up my semi auto 308 w/ my loaded M1A but now, I'm not so sure....help! Seriously, do I need another project?

Pass on the FA AR and buy more mags and ammo for your loaded M1A, maybe a nice stock ...

I've built 2 OLL 308 AR-style sticks using Fulton lowers. Both sport bullet button mag catches and 10 round mags. One has a 24" barrel and the other a 16" mid length.
