I can do a lot of home remodel and repair work, I can do plumbing but I hate it. I also have a 63 Chevy 4wd Suburban that I've been refreshing, I've done a lot of work on it the last 2 years.

I have always been one that loves to build things. I raced RC cars for years and I loved tinkering with the suspension to change the handling of the car. Loved the "prep work" of getting a car tuned to race almost more than racing.

Lotsa hobbies, but the analogous one is probably offshore fishing. Lotsa money spent, lotsa energy expended and limited productive results. Same sortof "turning money into noise" activity. Punching paper or catch and release.

I don't reload because I enjoy it as a hobby, I reload because it saves me a substantial amount of money over buying factory ammo - and it is a good way to kill time and do something productive when otherwise I'd be sitting in front of a computer drinking beer, like right now...

Besides the reloading I make and shoot selfbows and wooden arrows, do some woodworking, build a knife now and then, grow my own veggies and sell the excess at the farmer's market. Also I have a 13 year old daughter so she takes up a lot of my time as well...

Gardening

Some may find it amusing but, I enjoy working on my small garden with my wife and daughters. For my kids it is a great classroom type learning experience and something we can all partake in. Eating fresh fruits and veggies is great! I am also in a region where we can plant and grow almost year round. It involves good old fashion hard work, and you can really get your hands dirty!

A lil bit.

I build all my own computers for largely the same reasons - it's cheaper and I get to put in exactly what I want.

I also like cooking which is somewhat similar. I've toyed with the idea of building my own airplane (there is a large hobby around building planes either from kits or plans from scratch), but haven't actually tackled that (my garage is too small at the moment).

That would be about it though. Most of my hobbies tend to fall somewhere in the spectrum of guns/shooting, computers/video games, and/or aviation.

Quadraphonic tapes and records. I have a full quadraphonic system (RM, SQ, CD 4 and discrete) in one room. A bit anal about the quality of recordings that I do and one of my friends says I am anal as all git-outs when it come to my reloading.
