I've been offered a "matching" set of New Model Super Blackhawks in .44 mag. for $700. They're used but look to be in decent condition. They have stag grips but rosewood factory grips come with them as well. I'm pretty sure the barrels are 7.5", if that makes a diff. They come with a nice black two-gun holster included in the $700. Any thoughts?

thnx, don't know if the stag is real, I'm waiting for pics I'll post 'em as soon as they're received

If the gun belt fits, you must acquit!

No! That ain't right. :banghead:

If the two-gun belt rig fits you, it by itself is probably worth $250+ new.
It it doesn't fit you, it isn't worth anything.

If the stag grips are real stag and not fake plastic, they are worth $250+ too.

SO, considering that, you get the guns for $100 bucks apiece. :what:

I see ur point. I don't really want the holster. I just thought these might make some good hog hunting pistols. So lets say the grips are fake, whats should these pistols go for?

The pistols should easily be worth $350 each by themselves, with factory grips, if they're not trashed.

The holster may be a good one or a cheapo. But if the guns are in decent shape it aint a bad buy. I have one in 44 with 7.5 barrel and love it. 44mag is easy to reload too.

Terrible pictures. Guns look like they have a case hardened finish (which isn't right), maybe rusted, or just dirty. Can't tell, but they don't look good. I'd ask the guy if he shot black powder (which can be very corrosive if not cleaned correctly). Holster looks like nothing special. Grips look like plastic. Could be wrong, but the pictures are so awful, it's hard to tell much. Maybe there's a reason for such a low price.
