Miss the old Lee Round tray hand primers
I liked them best, the square trays ones that came after were not as nice and the new version is maybe a hair better than the square tray one.
Wish I would have bought a couple spares and extra handles back when.

If you have one that is unloved and not wanted I would be happy to give it a good home

I don’t know about others but I find no difference with “feeling the primer being fully seated” whether I’m loading on my LNL or using the RCBS hand primer I have.

Are you wearing mittens when you prime with your RCBS?

I prime both on my LNL and off with my RCBS hand or bench primer. The feel with the hand primer is night and day different from the bench tool or the LNL. The primers will go in with any of the three tools, but I can’t feel them bottom out with the bench tool or the LNL. If I am taking the time to load match rounds, I want to make sure the primers are seated properly. So, I use the hand tool. If I am loading a bunch of pistol ammo, I would rather just run them through the LNL.

No mittens as it’s warming up here. It doesn’t matter which one I use to seat primers they both seat to same depth. I suppose the handprimer may give a better feel to some but I really don’t notice difference between the two.
What I do notice with the RCBS handprimer that I have is when the primer is seated I can squeeze handle more and the primer cup will get slightly crushed.

Both: Old 550 has all the burrs worked out. No serious problems priming on the Dillon. For the rifle rounds it's a Rockchucker for sizing. Way too much horsepower for priming with RC. Priming is done on the old RCBS tool. Rarely use the RCBS Automatic priming tool. Works great.

I Prime with Frankfort Arsenal hand priming tool. Very heavy duty tool. The best I've found.
