I'm one of those folks Walkalong is refering to who doesn't trim pistol brass. My volume of loading precludes it, and I've never found it necessary for my needs.
I have shot many test loads in .38 with untrimmed brass, and honestly, I can't see the difference on target, but I still like to trim revolver brass. Well, I don't like to, I prefer to.
I might start with new brass just for the fun of it, our any range pickups, but it would only be on the cold day's of winter also, and it would be a one and done thing.
Well, depends on what you consider pistol brass...
Straight walled brass for auto loaders....NOTTA!
