I have a Benelli Supernova with a Mesa Tactical rail + sidesaddle, and a barrel clamp with a surefire attached. Since I shoot southpaw, I think it would be a lot easier for me to reach the flashlight if I had it hooked up in a side saddle mount instead of in front of my pump hand. (It would essentially be the same reach as cycling a bolt-action, from what I can tell).
My problem: the only one I can seem to find using a basic search engine is the Tacstar one, which seems specifically designed for their saddle. Would it work in mine, despite the warning? (In other words, is the warning just an advertisement for their other product). If not, is there another option out there?
