Does anyone have a kel-tec plr-22 I am thinking about buying one and wanted to know if they were any good are they good shooters, how expensive are they, and are they reliable.

Man, I always miss the good stuff!!!

They do look like fun. All their larger stuff looks that way. My pf9 is definitely not fun to shoot, but it is cool.

I like the youtube videos of bump firing some of the kel tec guns. I don't know if you can do that with any kind of 22, but some of the sub 9's they make do it.

I visited ktog the only ONLY problem I found was that they don't like remington golden bullets. they like federal which I happen to shoot anyway so not a problem. There website is very very lightly used it the section on plr-22 they don't get much traffic so theres not a ton of info. I'm mostly looking for how accurate they are at this point. I know how much they are(300.00) and what accesories(same as plr-16).

gpr you're post is still where you posted it over in general handgun discussions. I have this posted in both in hopes of getting more answers because of it being more visible.

I have the PLR-16 and love it but $350 for the PLR-22, I'll pass.
I would rather get the Ruger .22 Charger for the same price.

plr22

i just back from the range...200 rounds of lead federal's and not a hickup...20 yards with most all in a 4 inch circle...i'm not as good as i once was...gpr

ya gpr's got one I am so getting one I'll probably see what kind of price the local gun store can give. If it's not what I want I'll go to gunbroker orddsranch and buy one and have it shipped to my neighbor he's an FFL dealer. Man it great to live in a nice gun loveing community makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.:D
hey gpr how long did it take you to get your gun from ddsranch and were you pleased with there service. I checked there website out they seem pretty good it looks like a wellrun place.

mags

i'm not sure....i think i remember somthing about a ten round, but it was some kind of perminant pin, for restricted states....same mag size...gpr

@#%& I don't like the bannana look that much. I with they just had a magazine that looked like the plr-16's it would look so cool nobody would be able to tell the difference until they shot.:D
