About a year and a half ago I found this gun listed on Navy Arms web site. The first edition of the Gun Digest in which it appears is the 2007 edition and supposedly it came out in 2005. When I found this gun existed I wanted one right away and had a very hard time finding one. Navy Arms had none available in their warehouse and I was told it was unknown when more would be made. After perusing the internet sites a while I found a dealer in Washington State who had one listed on GunsAmerica at a set price and he even gave me a bit off when I asked. In any event I am now wondering if any of you own one. What it is: A slightly smaller frame version of Navy Arms Stallion or 1873 Single Action model. It comes only in 38 special. I think it is quite handsome with a color-case frame, trigger, and hammer and blued barrel and cylinder with german silver plated trigger guard and back strap. I am not a great shooter at all but it seems to do the job. I cannot vouch for the accuracy because I am such a poor shooter. I know it was made by Uberti because it came in a Uberti Stallion box...the label even says "Stallion" but gives the correct caliber and other information. It is still listed for sale on the Navy Arms web site but I still have not seen another one at a gun show, for sale on the major gun sites, and I have not seen it mentioned here. So, do any of you have one and what do you think of it??????????????
