Does anyone have a baby eagle?? I can't find one local to hold but I found a 40 cal. on budsgunshop website and it looks good for 416 bucks.

http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/21_38/products_id/49236

I wanted it for a carry gun. Will it jam does it shoot good?
It is only 1 lb.11 oz.,it holds 10 rounds of 40,I would like the 9 instead but they don't have it right now.
I can't tell if the decock lever sticks out too much or the slide lock lever. It is a nice looking gun.
Please give me your imput only if you own one or have owned this model in 40 or 9,it is lighter than other baby eagles.
Thanks

I had one in .40 for a while. It was a great looking and great feeling pistol. That said, it jammed constantly, extra mags and accessories like holsters were impossible to find and the slide profile was so small that it was a real effort to charge it with tight springs and an injured off-hand.

I traded it in on a Glock 23 and have been a glock guy ever since.

I had one in forty I really liked. The only time it hiccuped, it was trying to digest some guy's smokey reloads at an idpa shoot.

I traded it, for another brasspuker because of the greener grass thing.

I have a 45 and it's ptobably the best gun I have. Eats everything, feels incredible (way better than the 9 and 40s) solid. 5 stars for the Baby Eagle 45.

Edit-It's not polymer either btw

The baby eagles routinely get good marks from shooters, though some don't like them, as illustrated on this very thread. The .45 version that I shot some years back was a very nice gun, and I wouldn't turn one down in either 9mm or .45 if the price was right. That isn't to say that the .40 has problems as much as it is that I am just not interested in that particular caliber. Sorry for not following your input guidelines, but all I have shot is the .45!
