Does anyone have a Taurus 444 Ultralight?

Does anyone have any good/bad experiences with a Taurus 444 Ultralight?
Impact guns has a 4" on sale for $437 down from $492. I held one once and it felt real nice. I've been looking for a 44 mag for a while now for backpacking/camping and am definately looking at this one, unless they are a piece of junk. How bad is the recoil on the 4"? They have a 2.25", but that seems like it would be almost uncontrolable. I'm just about to do it unless anyone can talk me out of it. Any suggestions?

The words "Ultralight" and ".44mag" should never be uttered in the same sentence. With a pistol that light, you are gonna get hand-numbing recoil from any magnum load. The smallest .44mag I would shoot is a 4" N frame Smith. Now, if you plan on loading it with .44specials, then by all means, get the 2.25" and don't look back. The .44 special seems to be a pussycat in a snubbie, as long as you don't load up any Keith style loads.
