After posting my posts that contained extracts from the Gun Control Networks website, stating that they would love to see all types of multishot weapons banned,I was wondering-does anyone know what countries ban bolt-action and lever-action rifles?

I would like to know because the antis in the UK,don't like UK shooters to possess these types of weapons.

The Real Hawkeye:You were slightly incorrect .The UK still permits the following firearms for private usage: All bolt and lever-action rifles(In any calibre) all semi-auto and pump-action rifles(.22 rimfire only-for the moment, there is talk about 17HMR,etc being legalised.) Pump and semi-auto shotguns and finally all long-barrelled pistols.

However standard-length handguns, centrefire military/sporting rifles,pump-action centrefire rifles, etc are at present prohibited.20 years ago these were legal and we had similar choices to firearms as a typical American citizen does at present-in those bygone days-well before any serious anti-gun groups were ever established, other than the pathetic anti-shotgun league.

I asked my question, because I was sure that other countries banned, the types of rifles that I stated. We might of lost some weapons, but we are far luckier than some,I think anyway.
