I'm pretty sure Pro-mags makes one. If you just wanted it for the range I would say to go ahead try one. For any type of self defense I would not under any circumstances use one.
I have a ten round ProMag. It tends to jam a lot. I took it apart and counted the coils in the spring. It has the same number of coils as my MecGar seven rounders, just stretched out more. The mag seems like it is made well but it could definitely use a better spring.
The ACT Mags eight rounders are currently my favorite.
