I'm thinking about buying a Browning BL-22, and I'd like to put an aperture or ghost ring sight on it, does anyone make such a set-up for the BL-22? Thanks.

It is dovetailed for a Tip-Off scope mount, isn't it?

If so, Williams makes a version of the Foolproof that will clamp on.

I am the original poster of that archived thread.
For chuckles and yucks here is what the New England Custom Gun apeture sight looks like on my Model 63.
It is still on that rifle and working wonderfully.

Actually yes I did have to replace the front sight, I should have mentioned that.
The original front was .300" high and I had to replace with a .525" high to acheive proper point of aim/point of impact.
I have since added a .575" Lyman front tunnel sight with plain post insert.
