Does anyone reload rifled slug?

Hello All -

i haven't run across the topic of reloading for rifled slug in any of the other reloading posts I have scanned through. If it is there my apologies for asking again... just missed it. But does anyone reload for rifled slug and what are the economics of reloading for this round. Speaking 12ga here. Thanks for the input.

Yes, I load rifled slugs that I cast in a Lyman "wasp waste " mold. The data is in the Lyman Shotgun manual.

Loading them is a fraction of the cost of buying them.

Same as Reloader Fred here. I cast my own. Have never seen them for sale other than someone selling a few on a forum like here

Appreciate the help. Good to know. I am trying to determine if I should get into reloading, for economical reasons and for the all around experience, but I was hoping to be able to reload slugs without casting. I really enjoy shooting slug! If I was going to reload I was hoping to reload all of my various rounds. Casting just seems like it is over my head. Thanks again.
