Hey guys! i plan on getting saiga next summer and heard that the regular 74 mags work without mods,anyway i just want to add the bullet guide for reliability and maybe a tapco stock. P.S. is "bullet guide" the true name or is it slang?
does brownells have bullets guides for the saiga.

I made my own bullet guide (from 3/4 black pipe.... easy to do)
and knowing that, he gave me pointers on how to get it right.
I need to get busy and get a muzzle brake from him.... not that the rifle really needs it though.
Just be very carefull about drilling and tapping .... as that russian steel is very hard.
Go with a #8 tap for sure. The #6 taps will snap like a twig.
