Does not look good for a local range.

While I have zero sympathy for the LEO in this case. The nicer of all the local choices in an indoor range is going to be facing some issues. The owner, Gary Lee, just reopened all the facilities after a fire a few years ago. Now with pleading guilty to what I am guessing is a felony, the shop may have problems staying open.

This case is centered around events that happened in the greater Houston metropolitan area.

He is indicted, charged, accused of...... He has not had his day in court, yet. Just sayin'.

Yeah, but injecting a little reasoning into the deal you can probably get the feel he is guilty. Especially when others involved have pleaded guilty to charges stemming from what he did.

100+ federal indictments means they are spending the cash to nail his hide to the wall.

I think there's an assumption by a lot of people (justified or otherwise) that if an offense has gotten through the red tape and the good-old-boy system far enough to actually get charged, its likelihood of being legit is somewhat high, when it comes to LEO.

The shop's owner, Gary Lee, has since pleaded guilty to having knowledge of the stolen weapons and not reporting it.

That pretty much closes the book on what's happening to the range. It also means that his FFL is gone. Someone else may take over or they may keep the range open without any gun sales, but barring those two paths the only one I can think of is the place closing.
