Save money?

Heck no, but shhhhh don't tell the wives.
But I DO get to shoot a whole lot more!!!

I don't cast my own (yet) so I buy my bullets (MBC)
even then it's about $8.50 a box for 45 Colt (50 rounds).

On my last trip to Cabela's, they only had one brand of 45 Colt ammo on the shelf.
Buffalo Bore! It was $37 a box (20 rounds).

Nope, it hasn't really saved me all that much. If it has, I have spent it on more ammo, different ammo, or a new gun needing new ammo. If my budget was X, I was going to spend it anyway. All that has really happened is that X goes father and I get more out of it now.

On the other hand, if I needed to load to save money I'm sure that I could. It's always nice to have that option. :)
