Does this seem right?

I saw a Smith & Wesson AR-15 (calibered in 5.56 NATO) at Cabela's for $699.99 I'm trying to see the 'catch' but haven't found it. This seems cheaper than my cost of a Stag Arms for $760. This also seems to have a Magpull rear sight.

Can anyone spot the 'catch' or verify this is a good deal? I only ask because I know at sites like bud's what is pictured isn't necessarily what you get.

The "catch" this is the stripped down model, no forward assist, no bolt dust cover, etc.
(it doesn't have A/C, power steering or cruise control)

it is the M&P 15 Sport version. It doesnt have a forward assist and dust cover. I dont think it has a chrome lined barrel either but I could be wrong on that. It is a good gun and those features are not necessary unless you are a purist. I am sure that gun will last for 10,000 rounds. You can get a handful of guns for $699 right now and if that were my budget this would be the one I would choose.

I see. Thanks for the clarification. Think I'll stick to ordering my Stag, especially where I'd prefer the left hand model
