If we are married do we get to add in the wifes age to justify more guns?? 
I have about x1.5 my age now. I daresay only 2-3 of them are "low quality" guns, mainly the 2 CAI builds (FN-FAL and CETME). While they both work most conisder them frankenguns. The Mossberg 9200A1 that doesn't run I consider wouunded but salvagable
Those of us who are collectors can amass a huge number of guns very quickly. Even the common and simple task of collecting an example of every service rifle the US has used amounts to 7-8 rifles from this century at LEAST, depending on how particular you are about what constitutes a new "model". Then there is an example of every one from WW2, WW1, service pistols, JMB designs......

50 y.o. and no, looking at the beware the man with one gun idea.
1 shotgun worth shooting and one keeper for passing on,
1 good bolt action, with a backup/trainer 22lr
1 fast lever action, with a backup/trainer 22lr
1 semi auto 22lr blaster/EBR
too many handguns for the one gun idea, but they are mostly S&W revolvers so similar manual of arms, 13, 65, 60, 642, 35,
1 1911A1, Because every Marine needs one.
1 Colt Woodsman, just because I like it.
1 glock 19 cause everyone needs a blunder nine, besides my Wife won it and it was free.

Seems some believe that quantity and quality can't co-exist. I've got better than twice my age and none of them are poor quality. Some show some wear and tear, but the vast majority of my accumulation were less than $100. Some I shoot more frequently than others because I like them more, and some I bought because I thought I'd be a fool to pass up a well made rifle for $40.

My collection ranges from origional flint Muskets to a NEW AR-50. Heavy on Winchesters with a few Sharps and Remingtons thrown in!

Good grief, no! My guns number in the single digits and probably always will. I can only be really proficient with one, *maybe* two, at any given time. I'm a shooter, not a collector, and I only have two hands.
