I am not trying to open a new thread to rehash the turmoil of yesterday so please don't let this become a thread to argue the merits for or against what we tried to do.
Anyway here is the skinny on all of your money. Sheslinger and I have decided to use it for a much needed vacation. We will be posting a poll to see where all of you think we should go and spend your hard earned money. Right now we are thinking Alaskan cruise.
Actually we will be using the Paypal to automatically refund anybody who transferred money into it right back into whatever account it came from. The Paypal folks assured me no fees would be charged so you should get 100% of your donation back. If you do not please contact me so I can make sure that you do.
My guess is we will work on this over the next couple of days.
If you mailed us a check we will keep whatever cards, notes, etc. that you sent but put your check back in the mail to you as soon as possible. At this point we have not received anything in the mail.......including some magazines I ordered for my CZ but that is another snaffu and I digress.
We have been asked by many people to keep the money for reasons ranging from buying Oleg a gift on the sly, adding money to our gift, buying ammo for the next time the TN Mafia gets together, paying any Paypal fees and or just to keep the money for our trouble.
Althought the above intentions are admirable I just wouldn't feel right keeping anybody's money. That was not the goal of this whole thing and I don't want anybody to feel cheated or that we were not 100% up front with them. Besides I just wouldn't have the heart to keep you rmoney for no reason. I would make a horrible CEO but what can I say? I only have one or two morals but they tend to be loud little guys.
Anyway if anybody has any questions, comments or concerns please feel free to email or PM me. If you need to talk to us for real I would be happy to email my cell number to anybody who may request it.
If there is anything else I can do to smooth things over please do not hesitate to tell me.
If if there is anymore arguing people will have to stand in the corners facing the wall for a timeout.
