Don't forget to vote

Thanks for posting the link! There was absolutely no surprise in the Obama comments during that second debate. Though not a current topic, the issue of gun control never goes away from the left camp. They just wait for moments of opportunity and correct timing. I voted 11 days ago...took me all of about 30 seconds in the booth.

I already voted. Love that early voting by mail. Now if only there was a way to block all those political ads that are to late to influence me.

Then you have no right to complain

Sure we do. We can complain about a GOP that picks which candidate they want before the public even has a say, and promotes the hell out of him, ensuring his primary victory.

We can also complain that the candidate they pick so poorly represents his party, and is so easily demonized that his overall victory is doubtful.

I know a ton of people eager to get Obama out of office. I don't know one single person actually excited about Romney....if you exclude the fact that he would be Obama's replacement.

I do not vote lesser of two evils.
Then you Dishonor my military service, those who came before, who now serve and those who will serve in the future. By not voting you dishonor not only yourself but all of those who have sacrificed for this Right.

So for every one of you who dont vote get off your good for nothing dead A.S, study the issues and go vote. Its your DUTY as a Citizen of the U.S.A.

I swear. People talk about the RKBA but wont exercise the most precious Right they have and thats the Right to Vote. I have zero time for such trash.

Fotgot to roll the clocks back last night so I have extra time before heading out to the range. Breakfast out sounds great. Yum!

The key is to vote Tuesday, then to continue to remain unhappy with the Republicans getting away from basic principles. The Tea Party needs to remain a force, or things won't get better. If we elect Romney Tuesday, then create the same disturbances in the 2014 primary, with Tea Partiers effectively challenging incumbent Republicans, we can shift things to the right. RKBA and fiscal conservatism are important principles. I don;t have much patience for people who refuse to vote, unless they don't bother to understand the issues, then they can stay home.

And here I thought it was the right to 1.) Free Speech 2.) To keep and bear arms 3.) the quartering of troops 4.) Protects citizens from unreasonable search and seizure 5.) right to grand jury, due process of law, and protection from self-incrimination and double jeopardy 6.) Guarantees, in criminal trials, the right to speedy and public trial by jury, right to counsel, and right to confront accusers 7.) Guarantees right to jury in common law suits ETC.........

The right to vote is a more recent development, the 19th admendent being passed in 1920 (women's right to vote) and the voter's rights act of 1965.

First I would like to thank you for your service to our country, but remind you of your oath to uphold the Consitution of the United States of America which includes the right of free speech. You may not agree with everything that is said, but I will defend their right to express their opinion, just as I would defend yours.

Well, it kinda comes down to this: Do you want a country run on marxist principles or a country run by principles set up by our founders? Do you want a country based on getting revenge or one that provides opportunities for everyone? You know, the world owes NO ONE anything; you must earn your way through life.

?

He didn't say anything about NOT VOTING.

He said he doesn't vote for the lesser of two evils. In other words, he was implying that he does not intend to vote for the two major-party candidates.

That is a LONG WAY from not voting.

How that 'dishonors your service' somehow is totally lost on me. Step down off the cross -- we have a volunteer military now. You are a citizen just like every other in the US.

At this point, a vote for a third party is a vote for the current ruler.

Down with King George III, to arms - to arms, lets throw the scoundrals out this time by the ballot box, get out and "VOTE".

Jim

Voting for a third party is not voting for Obama, not voting is not disrespectful. Keep being satisfied with what the two major parties give you and nothing will change.

Not to mention the fact that a vote in a non swing state is essentially worthless. You do not have a voice with the way the electoral college is set up regardless of how you spin it.

You can say those things are disrespectful to our service men and women but IMO saying that is disrespecting them because you are using their service and sacrifice to promote your own values.

Until this country decides it wants to wake up I will continue to vote third party or not at all because I am not going to support the status quo. And don't worry all you Romney supporters, I live in Texas so it doesn't make any difference whatsoever.

Already voted, Not very thrilled about Romney but I think he's a better choice than the current pretender in chief. I pray that the outcome will be what this country desparatly needs.

Definitely will vote and for my and mine and my friends interests.
Will not squander it for a no chance candidate, that just helps the confiscators.

I won't talk about either candidate or either political party, as to not get the thread locked, but everyone needs to remember something. There will likely be 2 Supreme Court Justices appointed in the next term. We need it to be Justices who will preserve the 2nd Amendment. That's my driving force this election, because I really don't like either one. It's not the lesser of two evils when you look at our issue. Though neither have been stellar when it comes to 2A issues, one party definitely leans our way.

I will vote.

I just hope our brothers and sisters in arms will have their vote counted. I spent two weeks reading the health care bill and know what I won't vote for. We anticipate having to close the shop due to the new taxes.
