While the AWB will expire Monday or Tuesday or whatever we need to keep look out for helpful regulatory agencies at the federal level which think they can continue selected provisions using regulatory power.

If you can't get what you want through legislation, drop back to regulation.
Can't get what you want through regulation, go to the courts.
Can't what you want through the courts, go find a trial lawyer.
Can't find a trial lawyer, repeat as necessary.

BTW, is anyone aware of any websites that will measure the slaughter that starts on Tuesday? Anyone measuring the number of gunfights? Anyone measuring the depth of blood flowing in the street?

My apologies. It turns out I was wrong. To me it made more sense, & was a worse case scenario, for the ban to sunset at midnight of the day it was enacted. I assumed congress would treat such matters in such a way to give them as long a time possible to consider renewing a law that was due to sunset.

So the ones who argued that the thing would sunset as of 12:00 a.m. monday morning were correct. Even WildicantdecideifitscuteorannoyingtoconcealmessagesinmynameAlaska was correct where I erred.

& honestly I'm glad I was mistaken.

So thanks to all who attempted to provide correction.
