What a bunch of maroons. The article says that the class is given during the weekend, so what's the big deal? The only kids on the school grounds are probably the ones taking the course.
The instructors can bring their guns, but the students can't? Right there, that negates their zero-tolerance policy.
I propose that all the students in the class meet the instructors before class, and hand their firearms to them. Then, when the students arrive to class, the firearms 'belong' to the instructors, and they then pass them out to said students. After all, the instructors brought them onto the school ground, so they must be theirs, no?
Do schools have a role in teaching students about firearms? Why not? They teach them about sex and drugs, and both of them kill students.
