I have started shooting a decent bit of sporting clays, and heading out with some friends and shooting clays we throw (using a clay thrower and a hand thrower) and I have had a chance to use a pump, semi-auto, and a few over-unders. I love everything about the over-unders compared to the others (slow cycling on my part of the pump, the feel of the semi-auto feeding a new shell bothers me a bit) and the over-unders, especially one of the Browning shotguns I used (I want to say it was a Citori Golden Clay) but that is just way out of my budget.
So, what is a good quality shotgun for breaking clays for about $1000? Or, am I dreaming that such a thing exists and I need to bite the bullet and save a good deal longer until I have $3000 to drop on one? Also, I shoot lefty if that is a major consideration in your recommendation.
