I am a collector of sorts of redfield 4x 3/4" tube .22 scopes. I purchased one on ebay a while back and when it came I was surprised to see it was Matte' & "Redfield" had been double struck. My question is is this particular Redfield worth more because it was double stamped and also with matte' finish (I've been collection for a while and have never seen one of these offered or advertised.
Also as a part two I recently received a box of missed matched ammo and in it I found a few 30-06 rounds but the stamp on the casing says 30 G. , 1906
I have an odd 6 so I know the history of the cartridge but was surprised to see these still around ......or are they that old? I'm having issues with my camera but will try to post some pics later today 1/23/14

A double struck coin can be valued much higher, but I really doubt a double struck scope is any thing more than just a factory screw up.
