Double Star Day Dreams

I picked up this Double Star NIB last year as a Christmas present to myself. It quickly became my favorite rifle It has performed perfectly and is more accurate than I am.

Here she is stock with a DD rear sight added.



Here it is a year later. She has proven her reliability and value to me many times over.

Yeah love mine also,I have the m-4 version.Don't know how you can go wrong for the money,I paid 650 through Buds a year or so,I see that they have the H-Bar for 669.00 lately...

I have a Double Start lower with a CMMG upper. I must say the grip that comes with the lower is terrible IMO. Nothing 20 bucks won't cure though. The lower has worked great for me. Nice lookin rig.

Yep,you are right they are the worst grips,I have a new Magpul on the way and a sling and she's all done for now,I will have a little more than a grand into it after that,

Yea the stock grip was indeed pretty bad. It was one of the first changes I made.

Hmmmmmm.

I have found that the heat is not an issue for the kind of shooting I do. The sight isnt mounted directly on the gas block and that little bit of extra heat dissipation makes a difference.

No malfunctions to speak of here as well.
