Draco to Krink conversion?

I recently purchased a romanian draco pistol. I really wanted a Krink kit but just couldnt afford it. So I got to thinking about vonverting my draco to a krink. I know the front trunnion is different but Im gonna keep the draco's front trunnion.

My plan is to simply replace the draco gas tube and piston with krink ones from Kvar. Redrill the gas port in the barrel and move the front sight/ gas block rear and rerivet everything. This should shorten my everall length by about two inches. will this work? I imagine it would but is there anything I should be aware of like gas port size? gas tube venting etc?

I know that this will stir up a bit of commotion, so dont ask my "why the heck would you do that" and please dont waste your time telling me how innacurate it will be and Im sure that it will belch alot of fire. Im just looking for some advice from the guys that know AKs. And yes Im going to SBR it.

It's not the front trunnion that's different, it's the rear sight block. The top cover and gas tube on a Krinkov attach differently than on a regular AK, so you really would need to replace all three parts (top cover, rear sight block, gas tube). Even if you do that, the gun won't really look like a Krinkov until you replace the front sight block as well, and all of these parts really add up cost-wise - especially for a gun that functions the same and just looks different.

Edit - I just noticed you said you plan to SBR it as well. This will require a new rear trunnion. You really might be money ahead finding a Krink kit to build rather than make all these changes, unless you really have the tools and skills to do all this work yourself.
